R-PASS-S is an advanced IEC 61131 control unit that natively supports the SENECA LET'S remote assistance and remote control platform for Industry 4.0. This powerful CPU guarantees maximum reliability and security for data management and monitoring by combining PLC functionality (IDE Straton) with routing and remote access functions, supporting Point-To-Point type connections for Teleservice or Single LAN type for Remote Control ( for more information www.seneca.it/lets ). The R-PASS-S controllers offer client / server connectivity solutions for the creation of systems with variable complexity and with different simultaneous access points to the plant or to the single machine. They are also expandable with the R-COMM communication module equipped with 4G LTE modem.

Equipped with Ethernet ports (models with 2 or 4 ports available) configurable in SWITCH or LAN / WAN mode, 3 serial ports, optional WiFi module and 1 USB port, R-PASS-S supports the ModBUS TCP server, ModBUS RTU master / slave, FTP / SFTP server, HTTP / HTPPS server, OpenVPN encryption and protocols for Energy Management applications IEC 60870-101, IEC 60870-104, IEC 61850 (optional). The device integrates a 32-bit ARM CPU, 1Gb of Flash, 64MB of RAM and a memory expansion slot with microSD. Configuration takes place via Z-NET4 environment and web server.
