Butterfly valves General characteristics

Butterfly valves General characteristics

The OMAL butterfly valves, available in wafer and lug versions in sizes from DN 40 to DN 600 (lug DN 300), are designed and manufactured to cope with the majority of applications in all sectors of industry

- General requirements in accordance with UNI EN593

- EN 558 series 20 standardized gauges

- Seal according to EN 12266-1 rate A with a differential pressure of 16 bar.

- Semi-rigid integral gasket obtained by vulcanizing the elastomer layer on a rigid support ring.

- Geometry of the gasket optimized for a perfect adherence to the valve body and tightness on the flanges without additional additional elements. Flange tightening does not affect the drive torque or the operation of the valve itself.

- Finishing of the butterfly with lapped edges that allows to optimize the seal, to reduce the maneuvering torque and to significantly reduce the wear of the gasket.

- Guide bushings on the shaft.

- Rod-lens coupling with double shaft made without fasteners (screws, bolts, plugs, etc.) to eliminate points at risk of corrosion and breakage.

Also facilitated any disassemblages for maintenance or cleaning.

- Coupling with any drive (pneumatic, electric, manual, etc.) facilitated by the valve neck with EN ISO 5211 normalized plane

- All details are adequately treated to ensure full compatibility with most of the fluids used in industrial processes.
