TM-1 Timber Sizer

The TM-1 timber sizer is designed to provide an excellent planed surface finish for large timbers.  Work pieces of up to 30” x 24” can be processed S4S with the standard Newman Helical Carbide Cutterheads.

Newman Helical Carbide Cutterheads provide for substantial improvements with regard to noise reduction, lower operating costs and improved performance.  Large timbers can be planed to within .030” of target size while providing excellent parallelism.

Pneumatic feed rolls mounted on steel arbors accommodate the thickness variation inherit in this type of application while providing the high torque feeding power required in the mills of today.Typical applications include large timbers used in the shipping industry.  Please contact the factory regarding additional details.
