CNC Wall Thickness

Unlike block models, wall thickness models are generated to allow the designer to test the fitment of components and sizing of the part whilst also de-bugging the design for ergonomics and aesthetics.

Using a range of materials (ABS, Nylon, Polyurethane & Epoxy tooling board, MDF, Plywood etc) we can make models that closely replicate the properties of your finished products, they allow the designer to reduce risk and ensure costly mistakes are not made during the tooling phase.

All Midas wall thickness models are fully CNC machined to ensure accuracy but they are skillfully hand finished and painted by our team of modelmakers to guarantee quality and satisfaction.

Many of the wall thickness models produced by the Midas team are used for inital builds and to hit tight exhibition and photoshoot deadlines.
