Flexible printed circuit boards

Flexible printed circuit boards are flexible polyimide or polyester based film circuits. Since the high-quality flex materials are also suitable for chip and flip-chip assembly, future-oriented solution options open up here. Predominantly one-sided, two-sided and four-layer flex assemblies are preferred.

The advantages of flexible printed circuit boards:

• 3D assembly possible

MECO primarily uses polyimide materials as the base film for flexible printed circuit boards.

For one-sided applications polyester can alternatively be used.
