MCF: Radial cylindrical roller bearings, full complement, one roller set

Full complement cylindrical roller bearings incorporate the maximum number of rollers and, as a rule, have a low sectional height in relation to their width. This produces an extremely high load carrying capacity and permits spacesaving designs to be achieved; however full complement cylindrical roller bearings can not operate at same high speeds as cylindrical roller bearings of the conventional caged type. Some of these bearings are more suitable for axial loads than high radiai loads. All the components form a unit ready for assembling.

Designations MCF18, MCF 29, MCF 30 and MCF 22

Bearings of this type are the most popular. These bearings have two integrai flanges on the inner ring and one integrai flange in the outer ring that can thus constrain the shaft in one direction. A retaining ring at opposite side holds the bearings together.

Designations MCF 23

In contrast to the other full complement cylindrical roller bearings MCF 23 have one integrai flange on the inner ring and two integrai flanges in the outer ring and have self-retaining roller complement. The outer ring with the roller complement therefore can be withdrawn from the inner ring and there isn’t need to provide any extra retention for the rollers. MCF 23 are suitable for application with high loads and low basic speed.

Tolerances and clearances

Bearings of this type have a dimensionai and running accuracy corresponding to tolerances class PO according to DIN 620 and with CO radiai internai clearance. They are also available from C2 to C4 radiai clearance groups, on request. On customer’s request they can be manufactured also with different tolerances and radiai clearances to normal.
