KX 500 FLEX gear center

The patented KX 500 FLEX is designed for the flexible use of various mold and process technologies. In this way, application-specific optimal manufacturing solutions can be configured in order to efficiently and economically handle a wide variety of processing tasks and a wide range of batch sizes. Both dressable tools for flexible machining and non-dressable CBN tools can be used for highly productive production and for grinding critical interfering edge gears.

The machine concept is based on an NC rotary table, which integrates the tailstock and dresser offset to the workpiece spindle. The dressing unit can be designed with one or two spindles.

The use of attachment spindles enables the use of small profile grinding wheels. Both involute internal gears and special profiles can be machined with the internal grinding device.
