Classification screening is about separating mixtures of solids into different fractions, each with a predefined grain size.

Many manufacturing processes require the product to be separated into different grain size classes for optimal further processing. Classifying sieves not only ensure precise selectivity within the range of good grains, they also reliably separate oversize and undersize grains as incorrect grain.

The selectivity describes the accuracy with which the individual fractions are separated from one another. It should be close to 100% for your classifying screening machine. However, one hundred percent selectivity can only be approximately achieved in industrial screening technology.
