Angular gear

Angular gear

The angle gearbox , technically called the helical-bevel gearbox, owes its name to the position of the motor axis and the shaft of the output shaft that form the angle of 90 °.

Angular gearand other types of gears we meet wherever we have a motor and a power receiver, i.e. a machine by a motor driven. Mechanical transmissions transfer power by turning the rotary motion into rotary or rotary on the forward one depending on the type and depending on what task the constructor puts before them. Taking into account the first of the mentioned types (conversion of rotary to rotary motion), we have friction, tensile and toothed gears, which will be discussed in more detail in this article. In the group of gear transmissions, cylindrical and angular gears must be distinguished, which differ in the mutual position of the axis of the driving and driven wheels. For cylindrical gears, the axles of the wheels are parallel to each other, and for angular axes are located at an angle and this angle is usually 90 degrees. It is connected with destiny.
