Crush cut knives

Crush Cut knives are used in many applications. Typical for this cutting system is the very high contact pressure on the cutting material, the crush cut knife split the cutting material against the countershaft.

Crush Cut knives are available with a single oder a double bevel. The radius on the bevel is mostly blunt. But we can individually customized the design of the bevel. For some applications we produce the Crush Cut knife in a teethed application.

Important for the cutting quality and the lifetime of the Crush Cut knives is the steel material and the hardening process. The most Crush Cut knives are made from material 1.2067, 1.2379 and 1.3343.
