Force Measurement Device CBSF

Force Measurement Device CBSF

Force Measurement Device CBSF

The CoboSafe CBSF force gauges accurately check the permissible load thresholds for workplaces with human-robot collaboration (HRC). The CBSF series consists of nine individual force gauges, each with a different spring constant between 10 N/mm and 150 N/mm. The modular principle enables institutes, manufacturers, system integrators, and operators to compile fitting sets for every application and budget. The measuring devices are also immediately ready to use. There is no need to change the springs and the devices will remain accurate.

Features

  • The storage capacity is at least 100 individual measurements.
  • With its linear guided measuring mechanism, the force sensor ensures optimum measuring accuracy and reproducibility.
  • Illuminated display for showing the measured values and for menu navigation.
  • Set-up runs can be carried out without a connected computer.
  • Data transfer to the  evaluation software can be used wirelessly or via USB interface.

  • Thanks to its small dimensions, the unit can be positioned in a practical manner.

Application fields

CBSF force gauges are an indispensable tool for HRC risk assessment. They are used wherever it must be proven that HRC applications without separating protective devices do not pose a safety problem for workers:

  • Manufacturing
  • Logistics

Accessories

  • to simulate the biofidelity of the human body
  •  with ball joint for positioning and correct alignment of the CBSF force gauge

The requirements for collaborative robots specify body zones representing possible collision areas. Threshold values for collision forces and pressures are defined for these collision points. Additionally, biofidel properties (such as body resistance) are defined by a spring constant for each body zone. This results in nine spring constants.
