Overview

Pfaudler has been a pioneer in the use of Temperature Control Units (TCUs) and the concept of single fluid heating/cooling for batch reactors, which provide optimal temperature control. Pfaudler has been manufacturing reactors since 1884 and has an unrivalled knowledge in reactor heat transfer. In the design of every TCU, all factors are carefully considered, including conduction, convection, batch and jacket side film coefficients, fouling factors, and wall resistance. Mixing is critical for reactor heat transfer. Pfaudler has many mixing system designs that optimize mixing for each application.
