The CS1-EA combines the best of the CS1-A Precision Abrasive and CS1-E Electrochemical Cutoff machines into one robust and compact design.

Introducing the CS1-EA

• Advantages of two processes combined in one machine.
• Improves production times by eliminating the need for secondary operations such as deburring, wire brushing, and tumbling.
• Using thin inexpensive rubber bond cutoff blades that limit kerf loss and leave parts with a smooth surface finish .4 - .8 RA typical.
• The Electrochemical Grinding (ECG) process removes material with low cutting force increasing wheel life and providing a burr free, stress free part with no recast or heat affected zone.

Stainless Steel Design

Stainless steel design is resistant to corrosion, debris, and provides for simple maintenance.

Right and Left Hand Machine Configuration

Configurable as right or left handed allowing one operator to run multiple machines at once.

Fast, High Precision Cutoff

Spindle motor is powered by a direct drive 7.5hp (5.6kw) servo motor. The highly precise feed system can be accurately positioned to .0004" (.01mm) and can reach transport speeds of 400"/min (10m/min).

ECG Cutoff

The Electrochemials Grinding (ECG) process removes material with low cutting force increasing wheel life and providing a burr free, stress free part with no heat affected zone.
