Geater recently put into production, a Mazak Dual Horizontal, 32 pallet, 500 mm FMS system. Each machine features a 330 tool bee hive complete with Cyber Tool management.  The 18,000 rpm spindles help minimize time in cut, enabling us to provide both low volume and high volume production work with no set up. The machine repeatability coupled with an integrated CMM, ensures we produce a quality part each time.  We have seen a 20% increase in production due to the increased spindle speeds and lightening fast tool changes.  In addition, this system provides superior demand flexibility and minimizes finished goods inventory by producing a “single piece flow” system which reduces costs to Geater and subsequently to our customers.
