JDF300
The new JDF300 Foundation Fieldbus indicator provides remote visibility for up to 8 variables, subscribed from the bus (publisher/subscriber) or directly written by the Host (client/server).
Each individual variable/input to be displayed can be remotely selected through FF protocol or locally selected operating on the housing push button or through the local HMI menu: such delocalized configuration capabilities saves time and greatly improve productivity.
JDF300 features as well ABB’s common Human Machine Interface (HMI) that is easy to use with logical, guided, multilingual configuration menus.
In addition to its standard function of Field Indicator, the JDF300 is a Link Master device and offers a set of Control Function Blocks improving its calculation capability available for distributed control strategy solutions.
In case some Control Function Blocks are required to satisfy a distributed application in the field but, some of them are missing in the field devices connected on the H1-bus, then it is possible to use those made available in the JDF300.
They are 2 of Enhanced PID, 1 standard AR (Arithmetic), 1 standard IS (input Selector) and 1 standard CS (Control Selector).
JDF300 grant as well a continuous self-test function in order to notify the Host with potential anomalies in a diagnostic structure compliant with NAMUR NE107 recommendations.
Physically, the device is available with aluminum or stainless steel housing, making it suitable for harsh conditions, and the unique multipurpose bracket system makes it possible to install to both wall and pipe using the same bracket.
Specifically designed to withstand high vibrations and corrosive areas, ATEX, FM, IECEx certification are available too.
The modular construction makes it possible to replace selected parts when maintenance is required.
