Telescopic Cylinders

Very short cylinders with a very long stroke.

Hydraulic telescopic cylinders are an effective solution when you have very little room available for their placement below the load and when a long stroke is required. They can be manufactured as single acting gravity return or as double acting oil return, double stroke (D) or triple stroke (T).

This type of cylinder has various applications but the most popular one is in the railing sector for re-railing systems. In such a case, the cylinders are made from a light alloy for ease of transportation.

They also have a wider base for better stability and an integral pilot check valve for controlled load lowering and for safety reasons in case of a burst hose. In the picture is shown a rerailing
