EA Programmable DC Electronic Loads

The electronic loads from EA Elektro-Automatik are available in conventional and regenerative versions. They are characterized by a high power density and first-class properties that cannot be found in conventional loads. For example, they offer input powers of up to 15kW in 3U or 30kW in 4U housings with up to 2000 volts. In parallel operation, they achieve an output of up to 1.92 MW. The advantages of regenerative ELRs are obvious: They reduce waste heat and electricity costs by up to 96%, as well as noise emissions to a considerable extent.

Like the EA Elektro-Automatic DC power supplies, the electronic loads feature true autoranging, automatically providing increased current at lower voltages and vice versa, allowing a single electronic load to be used for extensive test routines. EA's loads are available in desktop, tower, or 19-inch bays.

The EL and ELR series have a TFT touch display for intuitive operation, setup and programming. The convenient HMI (Human-Machine-Interface) enables test routines to be configured quickly and the device to be programmed quickly without having to refer to the operating instructions.

EA electronic loads are equipped as standard with a plug'n play interface slot for retrofitting digital interfaces. The loads also have an arbitrary function generator with predefined curves as well as battery capacity test and photovoltaic MPP tracking simulation.
