• Goods Receiving & Raw Materials Handling: Dematic AGVs manage the full receiving process from trailer to processing lines, providing just-in-time delivery of raw materials to ensure production processes are always up and running.
• Automated Storage & Retrieval: Dematic AGVs can function as an Automated Storage and Retrieval System (AS/RS). Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) AGVs can operate within existing aisle infrastructure and can operate between several aisles for additional flexibility.
• Transport to/from Automated Storage: Dematic AGVs are an effective transportation link between a storage system (such as an AS/RS) and picking or shipping by automating repetitive product flow, reducing product touches and damage.
• Automatic Truck Loading/Unloading: Dematic automated trailer loading (ATL) and unloading (ATUL) AGVs automatically load and unload semitrailers, carrying up to four pallets at a time.
• End-of-Line Transport: Dematic AGVs are the perfect link in an end-of-line automation chain, working effectively with robot palletizers and stretch wrappers to pick finished pallets from conveyors for automatic transport.
• Roll Handling: Dematic AGVs modified with load handling devices handle non-standard loads (such as large rolls of newsprint or vinyl flooring) to tilt, rotate, and deliver loads as part of an automated process.
• Clamp Handling: Dematic AGVs modified with load handling devices secure and carry unstable loads with side or top clamps to transport a wide variety of pallet-based unit loads.
