New Fleetguard TetraMax™ engine air filter technology developed for medium- and heavy-duty applications utilizing 5 to 15 L engines. TetraMax media incorporates a patented tetrahedral configuration to create a high-density axial flow media pack that results in a more compact air filter with higher performance.
Description In the Fleetguard TetraMax filters, the air enters unblocked areas of the media and then flows around and under the blockage. With the crossflow unimpeded, the performance is not based on the sum of the individual flutes, but rather is designed to utilize the entire available media area to provide clean air to the engine.
