This Correct Phase Rotation Indicator allows technicians to be confident that they’ve connected their generators up correctly before flipping the switch to the rest of the facility. No more manually measuring the phase rotation. UL508A Listed / 100kA SCCR.

This Correct Phase Rotation Indicator is designed specifically for the civil / industrial / medical facility that cannot lose power and needs backup generators to provide that assurance. When a generator is connected, it's possible that the phases could be reversed causing motors to run backward and damaging equipment. This UL508A phase rotation indicator is designed to prevent that costly mistake and it’s designed for easy to understand operation. It also keeps technicians from needing to test the phase rotation manually while the system is powered on adding to workplace safety. It is UL 508A Listed with a SCCR of 100kA at 480V when mounted close enough to the power connections to allow for the 10 foot tap rule to power it. It's controls feature the following:

• A green light that indicates proper rotation
• A red light that indicates improper rotation
• A test button to validate that the device is working correctly.
• This test button internally swaps 2 phases.
• Swapping 2 phases should register an opposite reading thus validating that the indicator is working properly, and that swapping 2 phases will fix the problem if there is one.
