We have chosen as a partner the best manufacturers of CO2 and fiber optic laser sources to supply complete robotic units / islands for cutting plastic and composite materials and for welding / cutting metal components. We supply systems for specific operation in the automotive field (carpets, dashboards, plastic components), thermoformed materials (ABS, polystyrene, Plexiglas and plastic in general) and composite materials (glass and carbon fibers, Kevlar, etc.). We are the leading company by number of installations in the cutting of thermoformed cells in the refrigeration field with various automatic solutions and with cutting speeds up to 400 mm / sec.

It is an integrated and complete system for cutting or finishing plastic and composite materials, entirely made by COMI TÈAS, which ensures the highest standards of safety, cleanliness of the work area and respect for the environment.It includes a CO2 laser source, the beam of which is conducted by means of an articulated arm up to a cutting head moved by a robot. To complete the system, a special scrap collection and evacuation apparatus is provided, as well as aprotection cabin with relative particulate suction and filtering system, deriving from the cutting process for the abatement of fumes.

Compact system designed to meet the needs of the automotive sector (and not only), which offers the same performance and advantages of Laser T * but occupies an area of ​​only 6 square meters.The SLIM T * system is in fact ideal for machining small components, guaranteeing the same results in terms of flexibility, quality and performance as the larger LASER T * at an affordable price.Occupying an overall area of ​​less than 2 x 3 meters, it is also ideal for situations where installation space represents a limit.

The strengths of the laser systems that lead our customers to use thistechnology are:

  • the absence of mechanical contact with the workpiece guarantees on the one hand the preservation of the processed material and on the other hand the non-deterioration of the cutting quality over time (the consumption, for example, of punches or cutters involves a non-constant behavior of the process)
  • the spot size can be suitably adjusted according to the specific application
  • surface cleaning (for example laser systems can be used for all types of composite materials that would instead be ruined by a water cutting system)
