Ball transfers solve a variety of material handling and motion control challenges. They enhance conveyor systems by allowing material to move omni-directionally with little effort.

There are many ways ball transfers can be used:
– The traditional “ball up” position– Used as a caster in the “ball down” position– The pneumatically operated “pop-up ball”– A drop in ball strip for replacing conveyor rollers– Mounted in a work table for easy work positioning
Load capacity
Load distribution is governed by the flatness, hardness, and smoothness of the load surface in contact with the balls. Because of this, equal load distribution is seldom achieved.
Load capacities are available from 10 lbs to 750 lbs, but this is not a defining factor when determining which and how many balls to use.
More important than the ball transfer load capacity is the size of the bottom surface of the product and its ability to withstand the point loading of the ball.

- Painted/Unpainted?

- 5/8” dia to 1-1/2” dia main ball BallCurve(Omni)
- Overall ball height from 3/8” & up
- Carbon steel, zinc-plated, stainless steel, and nylon main ball
- Sealed main ball to prevent contamination – ex: shot blast applications
- Hardened ball cup
- Framed ball tables (steel frame, laminated wood, plastic, reinforced wood, maple)
