DESCRIPTION

The OPDEplus drive can be reconfigured as an Active Front End (AFE) regenerative unit. In this operating mode, the power rebound from / to the network is constantly adjusted in an optimal way to ensure unitary power factor, more efficient than the more classic dissipation on a resistive bank. The currently UL certified regenerative unit is the XL in the 40A, 48A, 60A versions. OPDEplus AFE versions from 70A to 510A will soon be available.
