To offer the market’s lowest body weight combined with maximum load-carrying capability, our design and building solutions are based throughout on lightweight construction technology.
Walls, roof and hatches are made of a lightweight, reinforced thermoplastic. This material has a wear and impact-resistant surface that is very easy to repair and recyclable.
The transparent roof gives a lighter interior and, consequently, easier goods handling and improved ergonomics.
The ventilation valve in the hatch body’s front wall is of a waterproof design. The hatch body’s corner posts are plain anodised aluminium with rounded profiles at the outer edges. The hatch body’s side hatches reach down to the edge of the bed; the rear hatch reaches down to the base of the bed.
The hatches have compression seals that are flexible and take up movement in the hatch body.
All the hatches have two recessed gas dampers for stable hatch opening. Hatch hinges are integrated in a design that gives a completely sealed union with the hatch body. Consequently, the hatches can advantageously be used as “awnings” to keep off the rain.
Hinge joints have a locking device that protects the hatch body’s hatches in the event of impacts in the open position. Recessed cylinder locks are key operated.
