American Pulverizer Portable Hammermills are unbeaten in capacity and flexibility regarding variation in feed materials. Finished products are being used as fuel for energy production, compost, or just for volume reduction.

Typical feed materials include wood waste, packing materials, railway sleepers, household waste, industrial waste, and commercial waste.

The hammermill's design allows for a large variety of the finished product's size. Typical furnished products are between 0–50mm and 0–500mm.

The hammermill has a mechanical safety device in the form of a reject door which opens in case of pressure from uncrushable objects. Materials like stone will be crushed without making any damages to the machine.
