The beam is created through the process of an external source exciting electrons within an optical resonating chamber. The laser provides 3 kW of power and can easily cut through a variety of materials of up to ¼” thick, including:
- Stainless steel (with or without film coatings)

Typical applications include cutting sheet metal, flat blanks, formed parts, and stencils and signs.
