The FlexPro® drive series is our latest family of digital servo drives designed for high power, small size, and the best available servo motor control.
The IMPACT™ architecture of FlexPro® allows for higher power densities while still maintaining the reliability and versatility of our established drive families. In addition, the advanced processing and storage capabilities ensure that drives with IMPACT™ are more intelligent and operationally flexible than ever before.
FlexPro® drives are designed to operate within a network, but like previous digital drives, they can also operate stand-alone via stored indexes and sequences with I/O. They’re capable of brushed, brushless, stepper, and linear motor control. The FlexPro® family continues to grow, with more products on the way. Future models will include more network options, and greater power ranges.
Sizes
The FlexPro® servo drive family has two main subgroups: the Micro-Size versions and the Mini-Size. While both are very compact and boast the same features and technology, the differences in size and power range merit the separate classifications.
As the names might imply, the micro-sized FlexPro drives are the smaller of the two. The base units have a footprint of 1.50 x 1.00 inches (38.1 x 25.4 mm). The input voltage ranges for these are 10-55 VDC or 20-90 VDC, with both peak and continuous current ratings as high as 60 amps.
The slightly larger mini-sized versions are slightly less compact, but they have higher power capabilities. They have a footprint of 1.70 x 1.50 inches (43.2 x 38.1 mm). The input voltage range for these is 20-90 VDC, with a continuous current rating of 50 amps and a peak currents rating of 100 amps.
