Introduction
RailBox LTE is a rugged cellular router equipped with a dual-band WiFi interface (2.4 / 5 GHz), a GNSS multi-constellation interface (GPS, GLONASS ...), 2 Ethernet ports 10/100/1000, an alarm output as well as a digital input. It is designed to be mounted on trains, subways, trams or other mobile equipment in harsh environments.
RailBox LTE relies on dual SIM 4G / LTE and WiFi 802.11n / ac MIMO technologies to guarantee high-speed data transfers in motion or at a standstill (station or depot). Its cellular interface provides a secure connection for maintenance applications during the trip; its WiFi interface provides broadband communications wherever WiFi coverage is available (depot, station, sections covered ...).
Resolutely designed for mobility, RailBox LTE complies with all EN50155 standards and meets the most stringent environmental requirements: resistance to shock and vibration, IP66, operating temperature down to -40 ° C / + 75 ° C. It has a dual insulated power input, rugged M12 connectors, and a C-KEY (instant key for backing up / restoring product configuration).
Digital I / O can be used to remotely control a device through a relay and to read the status of an input signal.
