TIRA GMBH - COMPANY HISTORY

TIRA GmbH is a testing and measuring technology company with a high potential for innovation for very complex, customer-specific tasks. The company was founded in 1947 as Thuringian Industriewerk Rauenstein and renamed TIRA Maschinenbau GmbH in 1990. In its more than 50-year history, TIRA can refer to several thousand plants and systems for a wide variety of industries. Innovative developments in the economy are therefore unthinkable without high-performance testing and measuring technology. These changed conditions were taken into account in 1998 with the construction of a new company building. The company's headquarters are in Schalkau, in the "green heart" of Germany.
