NSH USA was founded in 1910 in Albany, New York's capital.

The Capital Region, or "Tech Valley" as it is sometimes referred, contains a wide range of technology businesses which manufacture wind turbines, cannons, precision miniature bearings, microchips, nanotechnology components, precision optics, and other sophisticated engineered products — a fitting home for NSH USA.

From reinvigorating the war effort in the 1940s with machine tool rebuilding and reengineering to our decades of focus on railway wheel set maintenance and production equipment, all of it has taken place in our facility on Broadway in Albany. We are proud that our machine tools are Made in New York and Made in USA.
