Tecnoturbines is a water turbine company that takes care to be involved in every stage of a project’s life cycle. Our mission is to drive progress by reducing energy costs and supplying electrical power to remote locations in industry sectors related to water.

Professionalism and innovation to create sustainable solutions

The founding team at Tecnoturbines were colleagues at university and worked in companies specialising in water distribution, renewable energy, and the design and validation of machinery, when they realized how much energy was being wasted by pressure regulating valves. Despite the technical complexity involved in designing an energy recovery system at these locations, they decided to research a solution. After several tests, they developed a turbine capable of adapting to variable hydraulic conditions, in order to generate energy and convert it into electricity. In 2012, they founded Tecnoturbines, and patented their new energy recovery system. Thanks to their investors, they soon began to market their products both in Spain and abroad.
