Since the company was founded, the name OptoTech has been associated with innovation and technological progress. The company was founded in 1985 by Dipl. Ing. Roland Mandler. From the initial designs and construction of conventional, high-speed machines, to today's range of state-of-the-art CNC grinding and polishing machines, many of our innovations have had a significant impact on the market. These are used in precision optics as well as in the manufacture of molds and prescription lenses.

Today, OptoTech offers the widest range of machines and processes for the processing of precision optics and eyeglass optics worldwide. Pre-processing, polishing, measuring and post-processing - we always supply the complete production line.

Many ideas and concepts that once arose in the minds of our development teams have now become the standard in optics manufacturing. Below are some points like:

fine optics:

• Polishing with oscillation around the center of the radius with optimized calculated tools
• Integrated polishing tool correction with cup grinding tools in the polishing process
• A-FJP ® correction technology for the finest correction of polished lenses up to λ/20
• Innovative A-WPT (Advanced Wheel Polishing) polishing technology

Glasses optics:

• Individual varifocal lenses taking into account cosmetic and geometric aspects
• Alloy-free production of progressive lenses on the machines of our smartLAB superstore series
• Simultaneous processing of 2 lenses on the Twin-A machines of our new high-performance cell smart LAB ultraline

In addition, we supply all the tools required for optical production, as well as all auxiliary and operating materials. Standard tools can be adapted to customer-specific applications at any time. On request, the entire production process for an optical component can even be supplied.
