Holtec Automatic A/S

Holtec Automatic A/S was founded in 1988 under modest conditions in a basement room of 11 square metres in Næsbjerg, nearby Varde in south-western Jutland. The company grew, and in the late 90s the founder started looking for a business partner. Thus, in 2003, Søren Jensen joined the company, acquiring a shareholding of 49%. In the following years, Holtec Automatic A/S grew from 6 to 29 employees. Also revenue and profits were growing steadily, and the company was named a Gazelle by the Børsen daily newspaper in 2007, 2008 and 2009.

Holtec Automatic is owned by Søren Jensen.

A new branch and subsidiary, Holtec Automatic – Vest A/S, was founded on 1 January 2011 in Lem, western Jutland. Holtec Vest, has since then, moved to Lene Haus Vej 21, 1. th. in Ikast.

As of 1 January 2013, Holtec Automatic A/S moved the south-western Jutland department to Esbjerg, where the company has got a unique location just 3 kilometres off the motorway and nearby the port.

On 1 May 2013, the company opened its third branch in Hobro, northern Jutland and the 1. October its 4. branch in Sønderborg in the Southern part of Jutland. In the follow years, branches were established in Aalborg, Kolding, Aarhus og Tønder.

The company currently employs more than 90 skilled professionals. About two thirds are working with software and construction and about one third with installation assignments, internally as well as externally. Our branch in Croatia, “Cromatic”, employes 32 people.
