In 1987 Haas Automation started the development of its first CNC Machining Centre. A team of British industry professionals recognised the potential of this new development and in 1990 agreed to become the first company to distribute Haas machines outside of the USA.
Haas Automation in the UK was born.
The company has since remained the only Haas distributor to specialise solely in Haas machines throughout its entire history.

Haas Automation is the largest machine tool builder in the United States, and one of the largest builders of CNC machines in the world. We manufacture a complete line of CNC vertical machining centers, horizontal machining centers, turning centers, 5-axis machining centers, and rotary products, as well as a wide selection of fully integrated automation solutions, including automatic parts loaders, pallet-pool systems, and 6-axis robot systems.
Haas products are manufactured in our 1.1-million-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility in Southern California, and distributed through a network of more than 170 locally owned and operated Haas Factory Outlets, in more than 60 countries. Haas Factory Outlets (HFOs) provide the best sales, service, and support in the machine tool industry.

There are currently more than 215,000 Haas CNC machines installed around the world, being used by job shops, contract engineering firms, and manufacturers worldwide to make parts for nearly every industry.
CONSIGNED SPARES
We have an extensive inventory of service and maintenance parts on hand for quick access. In addition, our California headquarters can ship a needed replacement part to our HFO the same day it’s ordered – 99% of the time.
HAAS SHOWROOMS
We have a showroom set up for live-cutting demonstrations and training purposes. These machines are traditionally loaded with high-performance options, and in most cases, are available for sale.
MACHINES IN SCHOOLS
Haas machines are used extensively for CNC training and education at schools, universities, and technical colleges across the United States, and around the world. We are investing in CNC education today, to train the skilled workforce of tomorrow.
SERVICE VEHICLES
Our fleet of fully stocked service vehicles offers an added level of support, providing installation and ongoing service that is typically completed in a single visit. Technicians arrive with the parts and tools they need to get you up and running the first time out.
