Gilbert Gilkes & Gordon Ltd

Gilbert Gilkes & Gordon Ltd is an internationally established manufacturing company, based in Kendal, UK on the edge of the English Lake District. The original premises were outside the town of Kendal but in 1856 the company moved to its existing location where it has been ever since, today employing over 250 people.

Other operations include Gilkes Inc, Gilkes Japan, Gilkes USA and Gilkes Energy.

Gilkes Inc is a wholly owned subsidiary of Gilbert Gilkes & Gordon Ltd in the UK and was incorporated in 1978. It is based in League City, Texas USA. Today, it is focused on the repair, remanufacture and sale of engine cooling pumps.

Gilkes USA - From our North American office, located in Tacoma, WA, we provide service and support to our existing hydro installations as well as the development of new business in the region.

Gilkes Japan covers our Far East hydropower market operations.

Gilkes Energy Ltd (GEL) specializes in the development of hydropower projects, especially joint ventures with landowners. Building upon the 160 year track record of our parent company Gilbert Gilkes & Gordon Ltd (GGG) we have put together a highly-skilled development team which includes a full suite of engineering, commercial, financial and legal expertise ‘under one roof'.
