It was a century ago that John J. Gasser opened a metal spinning shop in Maspeth, New York. The company was known then as JJ. Gasser Metal Spinner. Starting with the manual equipment available at the time and the strong belief in the value of precision manufacturing John grew his one-man business. Over the next 40 years demand increased for a wider variety of formed components. With the Gasser’s constant drive to remain on the forefront of the metal component industry, John’s metal spinning shop, with the help of his sons, expanded into stamping, deep drawing and secondary machining. Now over 100 years later, Gasser & Sons, Inc. is owned by AlphaCoin LLC, an enterprise that is committed to continuing the “Total Capability” tradition that guided Gasser’s operation since its establishment in 1916. It is our credo that every customer is assured the highest level of sales professionalism, application engineering, manufacturing quality and, above all, service.
Today, as a key operation of AlphaCoin, Gasser continues to be an industry leader in the production of precision metal components. With a staff over 85 skilled employees, more than forty presses ranging from 50 to 400 tons, dozens of metal cutting machine tools, a department of experienced engineers, a team of skilled tool and die masters, state of the art quality control systems, computerized work flow procedure and an international customer base who rely on the high quality and cleanliness of the parts we produce for their Precision Deep Drawing, stamping, and assembly needs.
