ELCAT Ittalian company ,was founded by the brothers Mr. TESTA GIANFRANCO and Mr. TESTA MAURO in 1996, operating from the beginning in food technology. From 2005 the company specialized in designing and manufacturing loading systems and automated packaging lines for meat and cured meats. 

Elcat core competencies are: - the specialization in developing tailor-made machinery based on customer specifications, - the capability of including in the design the specific hygiene regulations typical of the specific market.

ELCAT is located in the province of Cuneo, in the Piedmont region, between Milan and Turin. The area is well known for the production of red wines (Barolo, Dolcetto, Barbera) and the growth and development, of the most important food packaging manufacturing companies. This area, called Langhe and Roero is a World Heritage Site for its hills, landscapes, and typical cuisine. Very important is Alba with the headquarters of Ferrero chocolate known all over the world for its products.
