HISTORY

In 2000, Doucet Machineries Inc. acquired the Progress Machine Co.. Since then, Doucet has been offering a broad variety of stroke sanders to perform a high quality of graining and polishing on metallic surfaces.

In order to obtain the perfect surface grit on metal plates for your application, all stroke sanders are designed and built using the latest technology on the market.

Doucet has attended all FABTECH Shows since 2015.

Doucet employs specialized production, engineering, and administrative staff. The manufacturing plant is 56 000 square feet and is located in Daveluyville which is approximately halfway between Montreal and Quebec City, in the Province of Quebec, Canada.

Gilles Doucet founded the company in 1974 and was joined by Elieude Pelletier in 1984 as co-owner. Since 2008, the company is managed by the second generation, Danny Pelletier, CEO and Pascal Doucet, Vice President Sales, both of whom joined the company in the 90's.
