HISTORY

The journey of De Pretto Industrie began in 1885, when the founder, Silvio De Pretto, started the production of hydraulic turbines in his factory, initially used for the repair of textile frames.

During our long history, we have always played a major role in the energy sector, enriching our offer with the construction of steam turbines and turbochargers.

From 1936 to today we have built 160 steam turbines, both for the national and international market.

Furthermore, over the years we have collaborated with more than 20 research institutes for the design of special components.

Many factors have contributed to our success, but we want to underline some of them: respect for tradition, belonging to the territory, the spirit of innovation and teamwork, values ​​in which we have always believed.
