History

Our experience in this market is extensive, stretching back to 1974 when Flodyne, Inc. began as a distributor of pneumatic components. Flodyne teamed with Hydradyne, Inc., a hydraulic components distributor, in 1976. The two companies worked side by side, sharing warehouse space and administrative personnel. In 1998 they merged to form Flodyne/Hydradyne, Inc.

Meanwhile, Controls for Motion Automation, Inc. (CMA) was providing its customers with superior machine automation and control solutions. CMA had begun in 1984 as a supplier of programmable motion controls, servo drives and motors.

On January 1, 2008 CMA and Flodyne/Hydradyne merged to form CMA/Flodyne/Hydradyne, an even stronger organization to serve the needs of the industrial marketplace.
