AboutCarlson Tool & Mfg Corp

History

Since 1958, Carlson Tool & Manufacturing has grown from a simple tool and die company to the largest tooling and manufacturing facility of its kind in North America, and the reasons for this growth are clear. Carl Edquist’s vision of a responsive, dynamic company laid the foundation for expansion into new markets. Carlson’s second generation management team led by Jerry Edquist has focused on our customers and the markets they serve, adding business units for tooling, gundrilling, deephole drilling and contract machining to further support our customers.

Today, we offer all of these services and more from our 104,000 square foot, ISO-certified facilities in Wisconsin. Diversification has enabled us to meet the needs of a global clientele. More importantly, it has given us the strength and flexibility to weather economic storms. It’s this legacy that makes Carlson your ideal partnerfor the long-term.

Quality

Carlson’s commitment to quality is demonstrated by providing the highest quality of tooling and manufacturing services using quality minded people so that our customers receive the best possible value – we define quality as total customer satisfaction. This drives us to settle for nothing less than excellence in all aspects of our business as we continuously improve our people and processes.

Carlson’s quality process spans from the very beginning to the full completion of each job.

Safety

Operating in the constantly-evolving arena of advanced manufacturing, Carlson Tool is continually improving and growing to meet the safety needs of tomorrow, today. While these attitudes are an essential element of our business model, they are also the cornerstones to our safety programs. As our world changes so must we, in both the way we do business and how we ensure safety is ingrained in our culture.
