WHO WE ARE

Cadillac Fabrication was founded in 1983 by Tom Bosscher, who saw the need for a custom “job shop” in the Cadillac, Michigan area that could handle fabrication jobs of all sizes, not just smaller welding. A lifelong creative, Tom grew up on a family farm, where his ability to quickly figure things out led him to become a talented welder. Armed with experience in technical education, teaching his passions of welding and fabrication to future generations of contractors was something Tom saw as unique to the area. From humble beginnings with several variations of shop locations and employees, Cadillac Fabrication grew to one of the area’s premier fabrication facilities. With a history of work that is as diverse as any “big city’ fabrication company, Cadillac Fabrication has prided itself on quality of work and ‘problem-solving engineering’.

A management team was put in place in 2014 to help Tom with the day-to-day business. This management team has moved the company forward with a focus on safety, employee engagement, and growth. From a two-man operation to a company with over 30 employees, Cadillac has grown in both size and capabilities. With monthly team meetings and employee input added to the mix, we’ve grown as a “culture” as well.
