c3controls has found success through a focus on Total Control—innovating, developing, designing, manufacturing, testing and shipping from our manufacturing facilities. By doing so, we are able to provide our customers with more value than they expect, offering great products and maintaining the quick, agile, and friendly service of a family company.
This all started back in 1976 when the Taylors thought they would start by designing the product, outsourcing the tool and die manufacturing and molding, then assembling, marketing, and selling the product in house. But they quickly realized they didn’t have the money to pay for tools, dies, and molds. So they bought the used equipment necessary to manufacture their own mold tools and to manufacture their own plastic and metal parts—and today with expanded manufacturing technologies c3controls is in complete control of the entire manufacturing process including designing and producing our own printed circuit board assemblies.
Vertical integration, having Everything Under Control, is now the cornerstone of everything we do!
INNOVATION
Product innovation is in c3controls’ DNA. But what’s different about us is our total-cost approach to product development. We approach the product not only in terms of what it does—its fit, form, features and functionality—we approach the product as a solution that’s integrated into a complete supply-chain that consists of many aspects: selection of industrial-grade metals and plastics, products engineered to reliably perform in a wide range of application environments, fully assembled products reducing the number of component parts (which lowers assembly and installation costs) that are manufactured on-demand, and ease of ordering (with our online product configurator webstore and best of breed manufacturing and information systems), receiving and installation—even considering the weight of each product in the entire supply-chain.
