Foundet in 1965 BÜTER® rapidly made a name for itself as a manufacturer of innovative, premium-quality hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. This development was certainly fuelled by the fast growing market for fluid technology, but even more so by the numerous ideas and innovations pioneered, in the first place, by Josef Büter to open up new applications for the cylinder technology.

More than 200 patents and registered designs as well as the certification according to ISO 9001 and ISO 3834-2 document the company's know-how in an impressive manner.

The corporate headquarters in Haren/Ems (D) has been continously expanded since 1965. It is home of the production plant and R&D department which uses state-of-the-art CAD technologie.

Now as bevore, BÜTER® is driven by the ambition to create competitive advantages for its customers with innovation and excellent quality. This philosophy made the business grown into a high-performance group - operating on three sites with a wide range of products and many market leaders as customers.
