Thanks to the implementation of the EU project "Implementation of innovative production of water turbines at WTW Poland sp. Z o. O. In Bartoszyce", we have implemented a new type of water turbine for production with a groundbreaking construction and characterized by:
- an innovative construction that is the result of a self-made invention (exclusive right number PAT.224665),
- increased turbine strength, guaranteeing extended shelf life up to 10 years,
- the possibility of obtaining the maximum energy efficiency of water degrees from the size of a slope of 1.5 m,
- no overloading of the bearings by excessive voltage,
- higher thermal expansion of the shaft,
- greater stability of work,
- extended periods between the need to service the turbine, thanks to the possibility of ongoing control of bearing life,
- reducing the occurrence of undesirable vibrations in the shaft.
This modern turbine with straight axial water flow is characterized by higher efficiency compared to classic solutions. Applied technical solutions allow for higher flow rates through the turbine (at the same rotor diameter). This turbine is recommended for newly built power plants.
The rotor blades are made of stainless steel. The steering blades and the impeller hub are made of spheroidal cast iron. Elements of the adjustment system are made of stainless steel. The standard equipment of the turbine includes, among others: front seal, hydraulic control system with hydraulic accumulator, temperature sensors for all bearings, linear
potentiometers for measuring the opening angle of the rotor and steering wheel, turbine speed measurement sensor, flat belt transmission.
The resulting product was introduced to the offer as a result of the implementation of the project "Implementation of the innovative technology of water turbine production in the company WTW Poland SP. z o. o. in Bartoszyce ", co-financed from the European Regional Development Fund under the Regional Operational Program of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship for 2014-2020.
