SCREW PRESSES – PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

VetterTec screw presses are used to dewater fibrous materials of different consistencies.They are driven by mechanical or hydraulic systems with infinitely variable speed or electronic control.

• the wet material is fed into the filling box (feed hopper)
• moves into the screw / screen section and is compressed by screw compression
• the liquid is passing the screen and is released in the collection box while the dewatered product leaves via the discharge box
