In addition to handling acidic and alkaline fluids with zero corrosion, and abrasive fluids with little or no wear, Vanton SG and SGK thermoplastic pumps can be equipped with Vortex Pump Heads to handle a wide range of slurries containing stringy materials or solids to 2 in. (51 mm) in diameter.

SGV Vortex Pump Heads feature recessed, dynamically balanced clog-free impellers, with all fluid-contact components injection molded or fabricated of solid, chemically inert, abrasion-resistant thermoplastics including polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF).

Performance of SGV pump heads is dependant on the pump model and the characteristics of the fluid being pumped.
