Goulds, multistage lineshaft vertical turbine pumps work great for deep well, wet pit or open sump pumping. What makes lineshaft vertical turbines pumps great are the fluid submerged hydraulic components for the pump, and above ground motor with electrical easy to access.

Being able to offer more material and configuration flexibility with higher temperatures and varying fluid properties, than the submersible pump and motor combinations, make it a preferred style. Lineshaft column assemblies can be open or enclosed, depending on the application.
