DC Strain Gauge In-Line Amplifier-Series AP5202

The Series AP5202 is a DC amplifier made to give variable signal conditioning and bridge excitation for Stellar Technology’s mV/V pressure transducers, strain gauges, force sensors, load cells, and reaction torque transducers.

The AP5202 gives out 4-20 mA output or 10V output with transducer signals that has a range from 10 mV to 10V. This in-line amplifier accepts bi-polar and uni-polar input signals and can produce corresponding bi-polar and uni-polar voltage outputs. The current outputs are uni-polar. This in-line amplifier provides variable transducer bridge excitation of 3V to 10V. Excitation, fine gain, coarse gain, and fine zero adjustment are provided.

Also, there is the ability to remotely connect to a shunt calibration resistor. The connections are made with screw-terminals mounted inside the durable aluminum enclosure of the AP5202. The aluminum enclosure comes with an IP65 ingress protection rating.
