Keep contaminants out of your building to maximize equipment life

Airborne contaminants come in many varieties, from flammable and toxic gases to corrosive dust and even allergens. One of the easiest ways to reduce the chances of these contaminants from entering the building envelope is to maintain positive pressure inside the building.

In some applications, positive pressurization is required by law or other regulation. This is particularly true in applications with hazardous classified areas, such as those described in various NFPA and international codes. Several of these regulations note that equipment inside the building can not legally be energized until the building has been purged of hazardous gases snd is maintaining a positive pressure of at lease 0.1in w.c. (25 pascals).
